the widget isn't updating

Make sure notifications are allowed for ilysm (Settings → Notifications). Expression updates arrive as notifications and refresh the widget instantly. Low Power Mode can delay refreshes.

how do i add the widget?

Touch and hold your home screen → tap Edit → Add Widget → search "ilysm" → pick a size → Add.

pairing didn't work

Ask your partner to share their invite link again, or enter the 6-character code manually on the pairing screen. Codes are letters and numbers only.

restore ilysm+

Settings → Restore purchases. One purchase covers both partners automatically.

how am i signed in?

There is no account and no password. Your iPhone keeps a private key in iCloud Keychain, tied to your Apple ID — that key is what makes ilysm yours, and it follows you to a new phone automatically. Three things worth knowing: each partner needs their own Apple ID (a shared one would make you the same person); if you unpair or delete your account, everything rests for 30 days and reopening the app brings it back; and a phone you hand on without erasing it still carries your key, so erase before you part with it.
